S/Y Avalon, a sloop-rigged 39 ft. Yacht Gecco 39 (Swan-type) will leave Hundested, Denmark on the 3rd of August at 6 pm and sail towards The Canaries, and from there towards The Caribian Islands.
This is the chance to crew her for a small fee for a shorter or longer period.
The route will be from Hundested, Denmark
via The Kieler Canal to Holland, Belgium, France, England. From there we will cross The Bay of Biscay to Northern Spain, Portugal, Madeira and finally the Canaries. Here we will sail around most of the Canarian islands.
In mid November we will sail towards Cape Verde Islands. Also here we will visit some of the islands. Around the 1st of December the course will be set across The Atlantic Ocean towards Bridgetown, Barbados. Here we will spend the time for Christmas. Captain and crew decides in unity where we might want to go in the Caribian Islands until April 2008.
