The yacht is a Gecco 39, a Swan-type, built in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1990 by Gecco Marine Inc.
It can be used for ocean passage.
The yacht is big, roomy and heavy, and at the same time has good sailing performance. It can take a lot of wind and waves. It is stable and also fast in light wind conditions.
It is comfortable and easy to handle. In hard wind conditions up to 20 knots of wind it can carry full sails (main and jib) without getting heavy on the helm. There can be some people on board without any feeling squeezed. It is a comfortable yacht for long haul sailing.
