There will be room onboard for a shorter or longer period after an agreement.
Maximum crew on board, the skipper inclusive, will be 4.
If you like travelling, seeks adventure, or want to see the world from another aspect, then sailing on the blue oceans might be something for you. You will experience and be able to live your dreams fully. You will visit tropical islands, exotic countries etc. While we are sailing you will socialice together with your crew mates, and you will probably get new friends.
The requirement is of course, that you on equal terms are taking part in the work on board, the maintenance, look outs, cooking, cleaning, and other duties etc.

How much does it cost?
For the bunk bed on board, the price will be 25 US $ daily (750 per month), or in an equivalent currency. This is fully used for the maintenance of the yacht. Furthermore everybody on board will share the running expenses, such as diesel, water, food, harbour fees, clearing fees, etc. It is expected, that this cost will be around 8 to 15 US$ per day, depending on the total crew on board and the area of cruising.
Rules on board:
It will only be allowed to smoke outside in the cockpit or on the deck.
Safety west and safety lines are obligatory in bad weather and during the night. It is forbidden to fall overboard.
Cooking and dishing is to be shifted between all on board.
Preferably there will be two persons sharing the duty while sailing. There are two automatic pilots on board - an electric Autohelm and an Aries Wind Wane. The latter is mostly used on long hauls. But look outs must be kept at all times.
No narcotics or euforiants are allowed on board or in anyones position. This will result in immediate expulsion from the yacht.
Contitions for the crew:
You must be sociable and be able to assosiate with other people for an extended period of time and in a confined area.
Payments for the first month (750 US$) must be paid before you are leaving from home. This is also a deposit to secure your bunk on board. The following months can be paid on board or via a bank transfer. You must possess a valid passport with an extension of more than ½ a year from the date you board. On arrival to American possessions or dominions from the sea, you MUST have a visa to USA, else you would not be allowed into the country. Because it is difficult to obtain an American visa from abroad, it is reccomended that you obtain a visa from your home country.
A return ticket or equvalent cash shall be deposited on board - this is a law in many countries.
Get the neccessary vaccinations and travel assurances. The assurance shall also cover your luggage. |
